BLURB: In this installment, Phoebe decides to start the school year off right by offering a peace treaty to frenemy Dakota, Marigold Heavenly Nostrils becomes the unlikeliest of babysitters, and Phoebe is totally surprised to find out that her Secret Santa isn't Dakota or Max!

Another delivery of the adventures of Phoebe and her best friend Marigold Heavenly Nostrils, where the delivery goes back to the system of comic strips instead of one storyline like the previus issue.

The summer, frienship, fangirling, internet, school, and Unicorns!

The grace of these vignettes apart from the drawings -really cute- , are good part of the dialogues. The author dedicates a good part of the stories to the impact of technology nowadays like the internet , something that goes from parents to children. I love that Phoebe's parents are addicted to electronic games and inclined towards art in the case of mom.

Marigold acts as always charming within her amazing beauty and her magic; while on the other hand expresses his admiration for who is capable of humility.

In the other hand, Phoebe in spite of being the kind of girl that goes out of the ordinary with her imagination and costumes and her love for reading...

...there are certain things that leave me amazed by her selfishness.

I feel really bad for Max and the bullying. Phoebe appears to be like a self-centered girl because is all drama about her and Dakota, but doesn't see beyond that in her own classroom.

Apparently designed to generate discussion of the issue among children, they are fun and entertaining.
