Libro escrito como una carta a su hia, en forma lírica , habla de raices aztecas , creencias y de orgullo por ser quien es. Poesia con muy hermosos dibujos y colorido. Aunque esta dirigido para niños, creo que por el lenguaje seria mejor apreciado por chicos algo mayores.

Esta historia corta para niñas , claramente, esta destinado para niñas musulmanas y como pueden sentirse al usar hijab por primera vez en la escuela. 

Las ilustraciones son preciosas.

Cute and funny children's book about a button out of job and it search for a new employment and usefulness.

Norman was proud of his job as a coat button keeping his employer warm, but when the button found itself suddenly behind and lost, it had to start thinking about what else could work.

It can be seen how this premise could be used with children to invent other jobs for a button. Like Norman tryng to reinvent itself as firefighter, plummer, petcaring and others.

Unlike previous releases of Phoebe and her best friend Marigold the Unicorn, in the form of a comic strip, with short cartoons, sometimes jumping from one subject to another, this time the presentation of the adventure is a graphic novel.

Necesitaba con urgencia algo livianito con todas las tragedias pasando en The Fifht Season y esto fue justo lo que necesitaba. A pesar del titulo, no crean que es un intento de insertar horror gótico entre los niños (según dice, esta pensado para 8 años para arriba ;P), sino que es más bien jocoso y escrito con mucho ingenio.

La princesa bruja Etelvina es castigada por osar enamorarse de un mortal, y es enviada al Chile del siglo XX, donde conoce a una familia normal, mamá, papá y pareja de hermanos más guagua.

Me descubri preguntandome si esto con romance seria del gusto de niños , un poco como el niño que tiene dudas de leer la Princesa Prometida con el abuelo en la pelicula homonima. Pero es entretenida, y te encuentras dando vueltas a las páginas entre notas de dulzura, mezclada con insensateces y algo de fantasia, en lo que se siente más como un cuento extendido que una novela corta. Aunque, claro, debo recordarme que esta pensada después de todo para niños.

Entretiene.

Estaba mirando los comentarios del grupo popsugar 2017, acerca de sus lecturas más entrañables en la infancia y me encontré con este libro. Me resulta extraño haberme saltado la generación de los que leyeron y leen a Ana María Güiraldes.
