Anna Wang is 8 y.o. and she moved with her family to other house.
New starts. New friendship. New things.
And the painful need to 'fit-in'.

For book-lovers and garden-lovers

There are a lots a themes here: family; elders; recycling; and to be capable of accept that your friends can have different hobbies than you.

I like in Anna that she thinks in include the feelings of the old lady. And she thinks to help her friend, even when her own insecurities play a rol here.
Is sad tha Anna feel a bit of shame about her mother. But many of us feel in school feel so concious of our differences and want to be the same as the rest that is understandable.

I like that Laura love animals but shows little quirks.

Me gusta leer y me gustan las plantas y los colibries, asi que me fue fácil identificarme con Anna.
