Men might be from Mars, Pia said, and women could possibly be from Venus, but Dragos is a planet all on his own. Just look how everyone revolves around him.

Cheesy display of the couple, walking in the well-known territory. A bit of danger and fluff, and some witty comebacks. It was better that the latest novellas. Feels like a turn-of-the-page for them.

Dragos acude con Pia a la boda de Rune y Carling en Las Vegas. Se separan mientras él conduce negocios y ella es atraida por un misterio en que se siente dejada de lado cuando ve un hombre que se asemeja mucho a Dragos. Luego aparecen los malos, y vaya sorpresa, la secuestra un antiguo enemigo del dragón.

Esta novella me gustó más que la anterior, Hay un Dragos algo más reflexivo y se ve hasta un poquitico más vulnerable. Pia por fin saca más fuerza, y hay minivistazos de muchos centinelas.

“You would be surprised,” he said, arching one eyebrow. “One small change can create large differences over time. In case you haven’t heard of it before, it’s called the butterfly effect.”
She rolled her eyes. “I guess I’ll have to understand if the possibility of creating change is too much for you to handle. No doubt you can’t sully your reputation by acting like someone who gives a shit.”
Azrael regarded her, his mouth tight. “You’re quite something when you get going, you know that?”
“Oh please,” she said. “Tell it to someone who cares.”

Y después:

Her face twisted. Kicking the man she had just felled, she snarled, “Why can’t assholes let me be a pacifist the way I really want to be?”

Aqui se cierra un ciclo de esta pareja, y al parecer queda abierta la puerta para hacer algo más con Liam. Pero le salió competencia con Stinkpot; es una delicia.
