Synopsis: H.A.M. has joined forces with H.A.P., using their differing gifts and combined knowledge to explore new territory and aid “clients” with problems both on land and in the Great Wide above. After priceless Giants-That-Were artifacts vanish from storage and one of their allies is double-crossed by deadly “stingers,” H.A.M. and H.A.P. find themselves at the center of a plot far more sinister than anything they’ve faced before.

En la continuación del libro anterior, el equipo de H.A.M se une a H.A.P. y dividen los equipos, mientras uno va por los hongos que aportan energía al complejo, otros van a un encuentro entre planeadores y aguijones. Mientras tanto, las baterías y otras cosas han ido desapareciendo, ¿faltan o alguien se las está quitando?
Aquí voy a mencionar el problema de seguir a cada personaje y equipo, porque son tantos y aparte de 2 o 3 (como Ruby), sigues mezclándolos, ¿tal vez usando uniformes o chalecos o una etiqueta de nombre se solucione ese problema?
La acción sigue sin parar, ya sabíamos por el libro anterior que había una especie de 'mente maestra' detrás de lo que estaba pasando, y aquí la conocemos aunque esto acaba por generar más interrogantes. Hashak es un villano carismático y convincente quien señala una cosa que todos los lectores sabían: que los Gigantes no son esas entidades benévolas que rememoran los hamsters de H.A.M. , HAP y HAT, porque los mamíferos, reptiles, insectos y pájaros son el producto de experimentos genéticos al más estilo del Planeta de los Simios, y que adorar las reliquias humanas es bastante extraño, pero muy de una película post-apocalíptica.
Pero, ¿qué estaban pensando esos humanos al crear animales con habilidades especiales, como los gemelos psíquicos? ¡Para qué?
Sin embargo, a pesar de la posible confusión de nombres y equipos, los personajes son adorables, en su amistad, honor e incluso ¿adictos a la adrenalina?
El final sugiere que habrá un tercer libro.

In the continuation of the previous book, the HAM team joins HAP and they divide the teams, while one goes for the mushrooms that provide energy to the complex, others go to a meeting between gliders and stingers. Meanwhile, batteries and other things have been disappearing, are they missing, or is someone taking them?
Here I going to mention the problem to follow each character and team, because they are so many and apart of 2 or 3 (like Ruby), you keep mixing them , maybe using uniforms or vests or a name tag will fix that problem?
The action goes on non-stop, we already knew from the previous book that there was a kind of 'master mind' behind what was happening, and here we know her although this ends up creating more questions. Hashak is a convincing, charismatic villain
who points out one thing that all readers were aware : that the Giants are not those benevolent entities of the H.A.M. , HAP, and HAT legends, because they mammals, reptiles, insects, and birds are the products of genetic experiments at the most style of Planet of the Apes, and that worshiping human relics is pretty bizarre, but very post-apocalyptic movie.
But what were those humans thinking when creating animals with special abilities, like the psychic twins?
However, despite the possible confusion of names and teams, the characters are lovable, in their friendship, honor, and even somewhat adrenaline junkies?
The ending suggests that there will be a third book.
