My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The truth is, I didn't remember the first 2 books in this series at all. And by the way, there is no romance in this book, there is quite a lot of fantasy and magic. And many women in power.

What is it about? Well, of shapeshifting breeds that live in permanent conflict (snake and avians), with mistrust and prejudice for thousands of years. The reason seems to be generated in a split of the races by magic, and the conflict has been helped by the falcons.

La gracia de este libro para mi es que es el primero que tenía en mi lista de TBR , desde 2011. YAY; uno menos.

Bien flaco favor le hicieron los publicistas a este libro comparándolo con la serie Harry Potter queriendo subirse a su popularidad. Desde ya les digo que no se le parece en nada. NO hay magos, ni seres de mitologia de cuentos por aqui; asi que tampoco se asemeja a Artemis Fowl II, pese a los subterráneos.

Cristopher Tolkien a traves de manuscritos inconclusos , versos, y anotaciones interrumpidas de su padre reconstruye la historia de Beren y Luthien, sus transformaciones y diferentes versiones mientras trata de salvar los saltos entre la Primera edad y la Segunda.

Luther Arkwright es un agente de zero-zero, la realidad más estable que lucha por evitar que los Disruptores acaben con todas las realidades. El Firefrost, El Opal, es el centro de la búsqueda.

RESUMEN de Enero a Mayo 2020

Por alguna extraña razón. no consigo hacer funcionar los llamados "gadgets" de Blogger para arreglar el diseño del blog. De hecho terminé echando a perder una que otra configuración anterior. Uf. Soy persona de escasa paciencia, asi que dentro de unas semanas o meses o el otro año quiza haga otro intento :P

Bueno, a lo mio: quiero dar las gracias a todos los mensajes de ánimo que he recibido y toda la buena vibra que me han enviado. Gracias amigos bloggers  desde mi más yo a su yo ciberespacial.

Y ahora sí mi  RESUMEN DE ENERO A MAYO 2020 , Wrap-Up o algo así. 

Mensaje a mis lectores.

Mis queridos amigos, mis más profundas disculpas por no haber publicado nada hasta ahora, como todos estamos conscientes este es el Año de la Pandemia, y como cosa extraña a todos que estamos encerrados en cuarentena preventiva (y ello contando con muchisima suerte) he encontrado que estamos frente a un fenomeno en el area de la lectura que hasta mis amigos de Goodreads le han puesto nombre "corona-slump". Siempre bromeamos que de tener tiempo leeriamos mucho más, pero muchos como yo, nos encontramos con que nuestra atención se encuentra perdida en otra cosa. He hallado poco que retenga mi atención, y solamente he picoteado por aqui y por alla cosas ligeras.

Me he refugiado en algo de fanfiction, y en series de comedia romantica muy ligera. No leo ni veo dramas ni cosas de horror y eso hace mucho tiempo por asuntos de salud, mental y de la otra.

A todos mis mejores deseos, que esten saludables sobre todo,  y que guardemos la esperanza que todos saldremos adelante. Gracias a todos los que combaten activamente , sacrificandose a diario. Y  espero que halla cambios positivos en el planeta después de esto, aunque mi escepticismo lo crea bastante improbable.
